Haemoglobin Screening Solution (Female Patients)

A clear blue solution of aqueous Copper Sulphate with a specific gravity of 1.053 used for pre-donation screening of Haemoglobin in female patients.

This solution is manufactured to the highest quality, and tested, via our in-house QA facilities, at every stage of the manufacturing process to ensure the quality of the product. This solution is coloured blue to differentiate it from the other, denser, screening solution.

This product is packaged and transported in 5 litre and 25 litre HDPE containers with a guaranteed shelf-life of 24months if unopened. Upon receipt of the product the solution should be dispensed into smaller (test) cuvettes to ensure that the pre-donation Haemoglobin screening is accurate, reliable and cost effective. The transport containers are not intended for use in the screening process.

Unless otherwise directed, once opened or dispensed into the diagnostic cuvettes, the guaranteed shelf-life is reduced to 12 weeks. This product is photosensitive and should be protected from the light.
